Kremlin: Russia may sue Lithuania for transit ban

MOSCOW, Dec 14 (PRIME) – Russia should consider suing Lithuania for a prohibition on transit of a wide range of goods to the Kaliningrad Region in the framework in the World Trade Organization (WTO), presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Wednesday.

"Concerning prospects of litigation, we have to assess it carefully first. Of course, to work on it from the point of view of lawyers in order to plan the best steps," Peskov said.

Anton Alikhanov, governor of the region, said that the region was calculating the losses in order to present a claim under WTO.
